Media magnate Rupert Murdoch, who turns 93 next week, has been married four times — and is engaged again, his representative said Saturday. He plans to marry Elena Zhukova, 67, a Russian-born retired scientist he met last year. Their daughter Dasha was previously married to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who used to own the Premier League football club Chelsea. Murdoch has been married four times and shares six children with three of his wives. These four Murdoch children have the same stake in the family trust and an equal say in what happens to the trust’s voting stock upon Murdoch’s death.

A former colleague told Insider he was aware she had a glamorous lifestyle. Rupert Murdoch's new flame, 66-year-old former scientist Elena Zhukova, always had a touch of glamor about her, but didn't flaunt it when she worked in the lab, a former colleague told Insider. Lee Slice, who shared an office with Zhukova in UCLA in the 2000s, told Insider he "wasn't really surprised" to see the retired molecular biologist on Murdoch's arm. "That was sort of a circle she interacted with, as well as the scientific community," Slice told Insider. Zhukova took her work as a scientist seriouslySlice said that at work, Zhukova was a fairly private person and that her lifestyle was not really visible in the office.

Zhukova is a retired biologist and was previously married to Russian billionaire, Alexander Zhukov. Fox Corp. "A sports boycott serves nothing," IOC President Thomas Bach said on the 40th anniversary of the 1980 Moscow Games boycott by some Western states. The IOC, host city, and international federations would ultimately benefit if Russian participation was perceived as upholding the Games' universal and neutral character. The IOC had also called for a ban of Russian and Belarusian athletes in international competitions as part of "protective measures" given the volatile situation.
